About Prague Christmas Market Tours

This site is an independent guide to the Prague Christmas markets and a comparison of the Christmas tours you can book in Prague: guided market walks, private tours, Advent cruises on the Vltava, Christmas concerts, day trips to the Dresden Striezelmarkt and a Czech cookie class. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours. The full line-up sits in the Prague Christmas markets catalog.

Why It Exists

Each Prague Christmas market keeps its own calendar. Náměstí Míru opens on 20 November, the two big squares on 28 November, and three of the markets close on 24 December. The tour listings rarely say which markets they visit, what is poured or tasted on the way, or whether the walk runs after dark.

Those are the columns of the comparison here, read off each listing and the organisers' own calendars.

Where the Figures Come From

Tour prices, ratings, review counts and inclusions come from the listing on the platform that sells each tour. Market dates and opening hours come from the organisers and Prague City Tourism. Transport fares come from Prague Integrated Transport (PID), and exchange rates from the Czech National Bank.

When two sources disagree, the page gives the official one or leaves the figure out.

What You Will Not Find

There is no invented guide or local expert behind these pages, and no claim that anyone from the site joined a tour. Reviews shown are short excerpts from four and five star platform reviews. Prices at the market stalls are not printed, because no official price list exists and each stall posts its own.

How the Site Is Paid For

The booking buttons are affiliate links to GetYourGuide and Viator, and the hotel links go through Stay22. If you book through one, the platform pays a commission and your price does not change. No operator pays for a place, a badge or the pick.

The details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
